Designers "Artmash" have developed a chopper for all types of feed, which has no analogues on the market. First of all, universality and the ability to process large volumes of alfalfa, hay, reeds, corn, wheat, etc. are important.
At the moment, the rotary hammer crusher is our most productive non-industrial grinder. Due to a number of design improvements, we were able to increase performance by a third, using an 11 kW motor. We know that many cannot use powerful equipment due to restrictions on connecting to the power grid.

The main difference of this model is the working body of the crusher. It is equipped with both red-hot segmented knives usual for our grinders and hammers.
Thanks to this improvement, the rotary hammer crusher lasts longer and its productivity increases. For example, a chopper with knives on a similar motor processes up to 300 kg of hay per hour, and a model with knives and hammers - up to 400 kg / hour. Also, grain productivity increases by 37%.

The complete set of the rotor-hammer crusher includes a freestanding grain hopper with a total volume of 250 liters. You can immediately load 3-4 bags of grain of one or different varieties into it, and then set up a gradual flow into the crusher.
The hopper has the shape of a funnel, so the grain itself crumbles to the very bottom, without lingering on the walls or in the corners. At the bottom is a gate that opens with a screw. This simple damper design allows the operator to smoothly control the feed to the crusher. So you get maximum performance, without going beyond the permissible loads.
To control the load, an ammeter is installed in the control unit. If the operator fails to track or overload happens for another reason, the motor will shut itself off.
Hammer mill has already been tested under operating conditions and received positive feedback from the owner.
In 2021, the model began to be produced in a new modification. The following changes have been made:
The stationary narrow cyclone was replaced with a larger, free-standing, adjustable height cyclone. This further improved the efficiency of dust filtration, and also made it possible to connect the crusher to an existing mixing auger.
The cyclone and the crusher began to be connected not with a square metal pipe, but with a durable PVC hose. This gave customers the opportunity to choose the length of the hose and, if necessary, position the crusher and discharge in different rooms.
The unloading unit for 2 bags has become swivel and can now be completely removed. On the one hand, this makes it possible to more conveniently place the crusher in any room. On the other hand, it helps the client to quickly and independently connect the discharge hose to the hopper, mixer or mixing auger, which was purchased later.

The Impact Hammer Crusher is the first grinder in our catalog to feature Hardox hammers. But since they showed themselves well in work, we soon began to install hammers on other Artmash universal grinders. The pentagonal mark on the product photo with the inscription HARDOX 500 indicates that its rotor is standardly or upon request supplemented with hammers made of this material.
After the improvement of the cyclone of the hammer-rotor crusher, it began to be actively used in compound feed complexes for the manufacture of friable feed. After all, such a shredder is more productive than a standard station wagon, provides more convenient loading and is cheaper than an industrial one.
And later, in addition to the grinder and the mixing auger, they began to add a granulator to assemble a mini granulation line. The impact hammer crusher is perfect for working in conjunction with 11 and 15 kW granulators.
Because the mixing quality of the crushed ingredients was particularly important to some customers, they were wary of using a mixing auger. Therefore, this crusher began to be connected to a standard mixer of 0.6 cubic meters. In such cases, we install a 15 kW motor instead of 11 kW on the shredder. These kits are used by farmers who pelletize meadow hay and alfalfa for their rabbits.
A year after the appearance of this model, we developed a competitor - the 11 kW universal grinder with pneumatic feed. It is well suited for all applications where a rotary hammer crusher has been used. But the grain bin option is not losing its popularity.
